It may not seem like a big deal to most men, but let’s face it for a bride to be, colour can mean everything. It will affect everything from table decorations to flowers to bridesmaid dresses and even the mother in law’s outfit so it is a wise move to pay an interest.
For example, let’s take flowers… red roses can be very romantic but they can also be expensive too, so if you are on a limited budget take note. Or let’s take the colour pink. Pink is the essence of a girly girl. So, this might mean baby pink waistcoats ‘to match’ everything else. How do you feel about that? It is worth considering all your colour options right from the start.
For a bride though, it is a slightly easier ride. White, ivory or cream are generally the colours of choice. They will always look classy and glamorous. Yellow is a positive, friendly colour. Green is natural and earthy. Blue can be quite a strong choice but can be stunning done in the right way. Red is classic and highlights true love. Red and cream together? Stunning and classic.
So pay attention when it comes to colour scheme. Once decided on it makes things so much easier. And if you’re not sure there are plenty of people able to give advice. They know what works and they know what flowers will go with what colour scheme and how to balance it all. Marquees are a great choice for a venue because they are so bright and light and it is a blank canvas. You want to look back and be proud of the day – remember, those pictures will be with you forever so make sure you get it right.
